I'd like to use Graphite, but keep the "traffic light". Is there a way to do that?

Hello everyone,

I like the the graphite interface, but I would like to keep the traffic light intact. Is there a way to do that? I have been searching for a while, and haven't found any documentation about it so far.. there weren't many demand for it, I guess.

I think that since there is a relatively easy way to change the finder's scroolbar into iTunes style (already changed mine), making the traffic light intact in the graphite scheme should not be too hard. Just an assumption, though.

Thank you for your time.

I like traffic lights.

I like traffic lights.

I like traffic lights.

But only if they're green.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Not without a new theme. (Or at least a modified Extras.rsrc/Extras2.rsrc)

I really wish they'd open up the resources into opensource so we can just modify the files ourselves. Seems they're working towards it with the upcoming (Hopefully sooner than later) Resolution Independence feature.

Edit: Right after reading this I saw the "iLeopard" thread.

Give that a try. It might do what you want. (The blue theme is graphite with colored traffic lights and the overall look is more iTunesy. Seems more pro looking.)

Thanks for pointing iLeopard. The "more-unified" looks is nice, but it's kind overkill for me since it also makes the stoplights bleaker. I prefer my current hack (normal blue theme + iTunes scrollbar).

I'm the same way. I like everything graphite but I'd like the traffic lights. In fact I don't like the weird blues of graphite either that you still see in a lot of iLeopard. They even put the blueish-graphite back into the traffic lights after Leopard finally went to greyscale there. Why can't everything just be a nice grey gradient like 90% finally is?

I love the U.S., but we need some time apart.
