What do you guys think of the prospects of using OpenCL to offload the GUI to the video card?

It seems like the technology to offload the GUI to the graphics card is already there with Quartz Extreme, Quartz 2D Extreme and Core Image. The benefit of OpenCL is that it will let the graphics processor do things other than graphics.
