Anyone got any info?

Or if you don't, just make up some amusing story. It's been over 3 years by now.

My educated, logical guess: it's not happening. But oh well....

up until maybe three weeks ago for about six weeks it had been taken over and the site played loud arab music.

even posted about it on macthemes and within a matter of days the post was deleted. i guess i upset some of the boys who who run the site.

interesting. you can't post replies anymore. maybe (i really doubt this) they're actually working on it. or they're just tired of being reminded how its been x number of years since they took over the site and nothing has happened.

My guess: they are waiting for an offer.

If they were truly interested in developing it, there would be more information and activity.

Given that the last post on MacThemes was six months ago, I'd be willing to think the theming/customization community, at least as far as those two sites are concerned, is stagnated.

Is there no way to access any ResExcellence "archives" pages?
You know... just for a nostalgic look into the past.
(i had uploaded two nifty MOSS [Mac Os Startup Screens] back in the day).

Well, I know it's been a long time...but I thought at least someone here would still be interested in ResExcellence, so I'm here to let everyone know that I've bought the site and am planning to resurrect it and relaunch it as a new site and community in 2013.

While the old site focused on ResEdit mods/hacks, themes and skins, the new site will focus on Apple news, tips and reviews for both Mac and iOS. There will be a Customization category with posts about how to customize OS X, and there will be a Legacy category for people looking for pre-OS X content. Themes/etc will NOT be the focus of the new site. We don't intend to compete in any way with DeviantArt or MacThemes.

The old website remains online at www.resexcellence.com/oldresex/ (and it will stay that way). If anyone's interested, there is a placeholder at www.resexcellence.com and feedback/comments can be sent to comments@resexcellence.com. We are now on Twitter/FaceBook/Google+ as well.
