I would like to know if it is possible to change something's icon JUST FOR ONE USER. I really want a mod'ded Finder icon etc, but my parents don't want me to change any icons :< If there is a way around this, PLEASE POST!!!! (pleease?)

An app's icon?, if so, make an alias for it and personalize its icon.

I'm thinking not, since the change requires Admin approval and that changes the whole system. I could be wrong.

Anyway, aliases just open the actual app. If I was to put an alias of safari in the dock (which CAN be done without admin passwords, you can do the copy-paste method), When you click on it it just brings up the normal safari icon (I think, I'll check once I boot up 10.5...currently working on classic.)

EDIT: I take It all back, the alias trick works a treat! thanks people, I owe you one!

EDIT: Is there any way of removing the alias arrow??
