I just find it ironic that a guy with such hatred, morphs into the stereotype of everything he hates.

THe only thing that would be more ironic is if they caught him walking around with an opened up coat hanger.

So he hates gays and abortions. He'd probably implode if he were to be given the chance to abort a child that it was known would be gay.

I just find it so ironic, that this homophobe imediately reminds me so much of South Park.

You would think someone like him would do everything not to resemble such a character.

Would have been histerical if he had a coat hanger on him at the time of the arrest.

but not that surprising. Many extremely violent Homophobes are trying to repress their own homosexual urges by beating them out of someone else.

that's the synergy behind the irony.
That's why I constantly find it suspicious when anyone spends an inordinate amount of energy hating/judging/hurting gay people. I tend to think they are fighting their own impulses.

Very true.

When my wife and I first started dating, we lived in a place where we had the first floor and basement and there was another place upstairs. The guys living upstairs were gay (one was a Macuser too!)

Our roomate always talked down about how he didn't approve of their lifestyle, yadda yadda. When we moved out he even went so far as to put a black curtain over the bathroom window because he thought they could look out their upstairs window at the reflection of him in the shower off the neighbor's window next door. Paranoid freak.

Well, turns out he was gay. heh. The paranoia was a combination of Mormon roots, drug and alcohol abuse and just plain being an a$$hole.

And he had no reason to lie to us. We didn't care if he was gay, straight, bi or celibate. He was just a roomate!

The lesson then is to be honest with yourself.

I heard about that theory many times... makes sense too.

Now historians believe Hitler was partially Jewish (based on analysis of relatives DNS)... perhaps hatred of a family member, as well as social conditions of the time created one of the worlds biggest bigots?

I wouldn't have believed it had I not see people do exactly as you describe, only to end up coming out of the closet later on. Truly curious.
