Thanks to you and FNC I heard about Al's book, you know the one about the lies and the liars, and decided to read it.
And boy, would have been a shame if I hadn't. Told me everything I suspected about your lying misleading ways.
This book is of course HIGHLY recommended.

Not nearly as much as Mr. 'No-spin' O'Reilly actually. Besides the book was funny, how could it bring hatred into me. No hatred. I told you, I am grateful 'no spin' Bill sued him and got him in the news.
Thank you 'no spin' Bill. Peace.

Breaking my Zimphire embargo here to note that, obtusely at least, he just called Bill O'rielly a liar!!
Zim agrees with Al Franken!!!

Actually I was making a ironic statement. But don't let that stop you from projecting anything you want into it.

Had Bill not sued, neither of their names would be in the news. So, please tell me who the genious is. I say it's the man who dramatically boosted the revenues of BOTH books.

So you're saying that (a) O'Reilly pushed the lawsuit in order to increase his public profile even though he already had the No. 1 "news" show in the country, and (b) O'Reilly did so knowing that it would generate huge sales for a book by his nemesis that exposes him as a lying hypocrite, and (c) it's OK for O'Reilly to file frivolous lawsuits for publicity purposes (which is itself proof of his hypocrisy). OK, I'll buy all that "spin" if you'll make a cash donation to my charity - it's called "Save The Starving Children Of Beverly Hills."
Let's face it - O'Reilly thought he could get away with being a bully in the courtroom as well as on his show, and he got spanked. He'll overcome it, but let's call a spade a spade. The fact is that O'Reilly spins just like Franken and everybody else.

They all lie. They all spin. This is the nature of media; not conservative media, not liberal media, but all media.
You cannot avoid spin, no matter what you do. The best you can hope for is to get your news from sources with many different spins, in different directions and degrees, and then think for yourself based on the many viewpoints you've read.

I dont know, Franken pretty much laid facts in his books, and gave sources and references. It seems to me less suspicious than O'Reilly obnoxious attitude in his show (and no i don't have read any of his books, ain't gonna give him money).

You should read The No Spin Zone. It is quite good. Even if you (like me) don't agree with all his opinions you'll find them compelling and well thought out. I read and liked Al Franken's book as well.

I'll need to find somebody who has the book. I am not ready to pay for it (neither did I pay for Franken's book actually).
And actually, for the little bit I saw of his show (I don't get to see FNC at home), ther eis about nothing i agree with O'Reilly.... It's gonna be tough.
