"Damn it feels good to be a gangsta"

Seriously, this guy is the mac-daddy, the daddy-mac. I know this guy has to have people killed daily just for looking at him wrong. Why don't we hear more about him?

Did the USA ratify Kyoto already?
Nasrudin sat on a river bank when someone shouted to him from the opposite side: "Hey! how do I get across?" "You are across!" Nasrudin shouted back.

Pooka were do you get his stuff about Putin killing people?

Also, your choice of words leaves a lot to be desired! It implies a low level of education. On the other hand, the man you are speaking about is by all accounts quite intelligent and has had a successful career. Why don't offer some evidence to support your claims rather than giving the appearance of being a fool?

Yeah, pooka, what gives? Paul Anka didn't sign the Kyoto Treaty either, and I don't see you jumping all over his ass.

Fine! I'm nevahr going to post a topic in this stupid politic lounge again. And you guys are mean. I was thrown out of school at an early age. I'm very sensitive about my poor grammar skills and inability to form coherent sentences.

And I wasn't pickin' on Putin. The man has huge cohones. He's the kinda man that would walk into the U.N. conference on endangered species and say:

"What is bettar than a dead Three-Toed Malaysian Orangutan in a trash can?"

"A dead Three-Toed Malaysian Orangutan in ten trash cans! Bwhahahahahahahahahahah! SILENCE!!!"

And Paul Anka don't sign nuttin' for nobody. Capisca, eh.. aboot?

Putin reminds the world that his farts can be quite potent.

Quote:
"Putin told the military brass that after years of cutbacks, the time for attrition had ended, with Russia's armed forces now numbering an optimal one million troops.

"Since 1992, the armed forces have been reduced by more than half. It was a truly difficult and painful process. Enough. The process, as a whole, is now complete," Putin said.

Putin outlined his vision for a strong, well-funded, flexible and combat-ready Russian military. Defense Minister Ivanov, meanwhile, told the assembly of military leaders that what he called "radical" military reforms were now successfully accomplished, meaning Russia could focus on projecting its power.

Ivanov, as he has on previous occasions, reiterated that Russia retains the right to launch pre-emptive strikes against potential enemies. Both men emphasized the importance of Russia's nuclear arsenal as a cornerstone of the country's defense, with Putin announcing plans to pull dozens of SS-19 intercontinental ballistic missiles out of storage.

"Russia retains a significant number -- I want to emphasize this -- a significant number of land-based strategic missiles. I am talking about our most menacing missiles, the [SS-19]. I am talking about very serious potential, about tens of rockets," Ivanov said.

Putin's statement was accompanied by a report from the Russian Defense Ministry, warning NATO that Moscow would be forced to re-evaluate its nuclear missile strategy if the alliance continued to maintain an "offensive doctrine." Link

Hmmm. What does that remind me of? Something about restoring pride in the military and posture reviews?

Hiroshima, Nagasaki mayors protest Russia nuke_plan
Saturday, October 4, 2003 at 00:30 JST
HIROSHIMA — The mayors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the only two cities in the world to have suffered atomic bombings, blasted Russia on Friday over its plan to consider restricted use of nuclear weapons to deal with regional conflicts and international terrorism.

Hiroshima Mayor Tadatoshi Akiba said he will soon send a protest letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin, while Nagasaki Mayor Itcho Ito said he has sent a similar letter to the Russian Embassy in Tokyo. (Kyodo News) link
