Their only hope is to nominate a Presidential candidate with the last name "Other".

Yes the Dems have been losing ground the past year or two.

No one wants to run against GW because they know they will lose.

Which means another 4 years of liberal MacNN foaming at the mouth.

Yaaaay!

But, dude, we've already gotten even for those eight miserable years of Slick Willie. I'm starting to feel sorry for those poor traumatized liberals.

Another poll

The most current data shown on that poll is identical to what I posted. It's the same CNN/Gallup poll, after all.

It does show results of previous polls which makes it easy to see the trend in opinion over time.

You hafta figure that things can't get much worse for Dubya than they have been. The only way to go is up. And he doesn't even have go 'up' to defeat a Democrat right now.

Bad ideas and actions are better than no ideas and inaction.

You need a platform to stand on. Tearing down the incumbant's platform doesn't win elections.

It can if you control the media. After all, if you repeat a message long enough, some proportion of the masses are going to believe it eventually. "No War for Oil" is a good example.

You do realize that with error bars of 8% the numbers on this graph are pretty much meaningless except to say that, "Somewhere between a third of and half of Democrats are undecided."

Remember how unbeatable Bush looked at this time 1999? That didn't really pan out the way one might have expected, did it?

I thought this one was funny:

The following numbers are way down:

And these could be killer:

Things are still, overall, better for Bush, but there are two critical factors:
  • The trend is decidedly downward.
  • People haven't had time to familiarize themselves with most of the Democratic challengers.

Even among Democrats, I'd bet that a lot of those people who selected a candidate knows little more than a soundbite or two about most of the candidates.

Oh well. I likes em' smug. Makes it easier to sneak up on em' and win the election before they realize what's happening.

Yup, I see that on the news all the time. Good thing liberals control the media, not giant corporations, otherwise imagine the news! Damn those tree-huggers.

"Running out of time" ... my gosh, the election is only 53 weeks away!
Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them.
