yup. I've posted on this before with my analysis of the three prong approach to the neocon agenda. Sad how what I posted keeps getting proven true day after day. Even sadder is how bush apologists keep existing in denial.

From the article:
Like Thomas Hobbes, Strauss believed that the inherently aggressive nature of human beings could only be restrained by a powerful nationalistic state. "Because mankind is intrinsically wicked, he has to be governed," he once wrote. "Such governance can only be established, however, when men are united – and they can only be united against other people."

That just means you're rational. It isn't happening, but paranoia is (obviously) contagious.

Oh please... This is just rubbish.
For one thing, Bush isn't smart enough to do that. Not bashing the man, I just don't think he's capable of that level of obfuscation and deception.

We know Bush isn't smart enough, that's why these guys have so much influence. They have taken over almost complete control of the administration.

yes, what was happening?
deception,
power of religion
nationalism
and
-power of contracts for badly needed oil
quote from:
• The US national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice, said yesterday it was "likely" that British companies would be able to bid for big contracts in the reconstruction of Iraq.
The concession, which could be unveiled by President George W Bush when he visits Britain next week, follows criticism after British firms were prevented from bidding for the first round of lucrative primary contracts. These were granted to American companies, some with close links to the Bush administration.

Gads, I don't even lock my doors, unless I'm leaving the house. And that's mostly to keep my friends from dropping by and borrowing books, music, and movies without my knowledge... though many now have keys. I had to recently setup a "sign-out" sheet so I can keep track. I feel like a freaking library.
Anyway, this is just more FUD from the lefties, just smile and nod. "Sure, whatever you say..."
