James Carville (outspoken democratic strategist) and Mary Matalin (outspoken republican strategist) are celebrating their 10 year wedding anniversary.
The simple fact that they can get past the rhetoric they each spew and maintain a personal relationship (especially one that lasts longer than the average marriage) gives me hope that people in Washington actually do have a personalities deeper than the politics.
In a time when the country is polarized between Democrat (liberal) and Republican (conservative), I'd just like to say...look, we can get along pretty well side-by side.
Flame away, but I don't like either of them. I do, however, respect them as a balanced power couple.
