What is a candidate running for President using words like this for? To me it is very very innapropraite for someone who is seeking something like the Presidency to be using words like this.
Not much is made in the Press about this. If it was a republican who made a satement like this it would be headlines for the next few months.

Well, he shouldn't have said it - use of such language is damaging to his own position more than anything else. That said, Bush did [expletive] it up pretty badly though.

Bush:
"There's Adam Clymer -- major league asshole -- from the New York Times"
Bush again:
Ten years ago, at the 1988 Republican Convention, Hartford Courant associate editor David Fink struck up a conversation with George W. Bush. “When you’re not talking politics,” Fink asked the vice president’s son, “what do you and [your father] talk about?”
“Pussy,” George W. replied. -- “Prodigal son” by Jake Tapper, Salon.com, April 9, 1999
Did you see either of these as headlines?

If after 6 months no WMD are found, people who supported the war should say ["You're right, we were wrong -- good job"] -- and move to impeach Mr. Bush."

It might have been a mistake to use the fudge word publicly, but someone would have to be pretty naive to think that presidents are any different from most people. Every president I've read about has used colorful language at some time or another. So what.
