I think Hillary is way too polarizing outside of the Party. Not a solid choice in 2004. Perhaps not even 2008 (but don't be surprised).
I suppose this might confirm my worst fears about the Gore announcement. Expect a very nasty primary and a lame-duck nominee.
Sweet Elvis in Heaven, the Democrats sure are retarded.

So, let me get this straight.
Clark hasn't ruled out HC as a VP candidate.
Holy Hell in a Handbasket! What a way to flush your chances of winning down the crapper, etc...
You know, I'm sure Clark hasn't ruled many people out as candidates. Jesus, this is news?
"I love Hillary Clinton and we will certainly keep that in mind," Clark said, referring to her potential as a running mate. "Hillary Clinton - she’s fabulous. She’s a great person and a great leader."
Yup, the sky is falling, as Clark gives a political non-response to a question.
In other news, Clark has not ruled out the Pope, Henry Winkler, or a Sprite can as running mates.
It'll be news when he actually announces his running mate.

Why not go with Hillary Clinton? It isn't like you expect the Democrats to beat Bushie?
Personally I'D like to see Hillary as VP if for no other reason than seeng a woman as VP. I'd rather see a woman as P but that's another discussion.

Even though I think she's qualified, she'd unfortunately be a lightning rod for endless vitriol once she was elected to VP...not because of her, but because of the right's inability to let go of the already ragged Clinton chew toy.
I thought Geraldine Ferraro was also very qualified as a VP nominee.
of course, ANYONE was a better veep nominee than Dan Quayle.
