Is that going to be his campaign platform? "Vote for me and I'll execute Saddam"?
Never-the-less, Bush will NOT be executing Saddam. That decision rests with the people of Iraq. The best that Bush can do is to pressure them to execute him.

That's why I added that he could pressure them to execute Saddam. However, the decision would still be their's to cave to that (admittedly heavy) pressure. Which is, I've no doubt, the reason why Bush wants Saddam tried by the Iraqis rather than in the Hague.
