The election is coming up fast, YOU will be the one to decide. Who wins on the 'Crat side- DOCTOR Dean who is known for shrieking, or Mr. Kerry who will soon be known as Botox Kerry?

And, does the winner have a chance against President Bush? You decide 2004.

It doesn't matter who represents the Democrats
this time around. There is nobody who
can unseat President Bush.

I'm eagerly waiting for 2008. Now that
will be a very interesting election.

Who gets in depends upon which version of reality gets presented to the people between now and then and whether the illusion holds.

I believe Kerry will be President in 2004.
Bush Tax Cuts == Job Killer
June 2001: 132,047,000 employed
June 2003: 129,839,000 employed
2.21 million jobs were LOST after 2 years of Bush Tax Cuts.

Do you think that if the Botox rumours are true, he still has a chance at the presidency? I honestly don't think our country is ready for something like that.

If Kerry did use Botox, it will only increase his popularity with the female population.

Why is that?

It certainly didn't help Axl Rose.

Women don't want metrosexuals. This is a myth being perpetuated by the media.

Kerry will only win if troops are still dieing over in Iraq come November.

Your language is less than subtle. THe blunt tool of an amateur. If that is the best you can do against what you obviously consider your opponents, well, I pity you, because, DAMN. As if there weren't legitimate complaints about both candidates, you gotta bring it down to aesthetics. Good for you. You are a typical American.
Stick tight with Mr Rove. Oh! Look! I see you have Evan with you. BIG shocker there. You two should work well together. Perhaps you should create your own pol forum where you may discuss politics on your own... uh... level. Over there. At the kiddie table.
Friggin laughable and pitiful, the both of you.
You do your party proud, I'm sure.

I'm going to pull your head off because I don't like your head.

No crystal balls here, mine are all steel.

I look at the weakness of the competition,
and they have too many problems to
overcome before the election so,
at this time, I don't see a
contendor to unseat
president Bush.

We'll see.

That is always the case early in the primaries. Doesn't matter which party is incumbent.

Remember this: The American Electorate has a very short memory. Once an opposition candidate is chosen, all these problems will be dealt with forthwith. As almost always happens.

What makes this election cycle different is that GW is THE most polarizing president EVER. There are fewer swing votes to be had this year. People are voting firmly along party lines this year.

Note that I'm not saying this is a good thing or a bad thing, this is just an observation.

Sometimes, crystal (and steel) balls just show us a reflection of ourselves. One should be cautious not to over estimate that reflection.

A wild card to consider is that even though I agree veteran (meaning experienced, not those with military service) voters will more likely vote along their own party lines, there are likely to be a larger influx of non-veteran voters that may or may not have a party affiliation, especially due to the polarizing nature of Bush's foreign policy.

The fat lady has definitely not finished singing, yet.

Even so, I foresee a much larger discrepancy between the electoral college tallies and the popular vote this time around.

Acknowledged. I don't think we'll see that make a difference though: Dean has shown us in Iowa and New Hampshire that they aren't mobilizing. That was what he banked on in both places, and the new voters didn't show up.

Sad and discouraging, but true.

I read that around 50% of the voters in Iowa were voting in a caucus/primary for the first time. The new voters showed up; they just didn't show up for Dean.

[Edit: the stat I saw was for Iowa; not sure how many New Hampshire voters were new.]

i don't care who wins, as long as it's not the bushwhacker.

having said that, i really can't believe that he has the slightest chance of winning. between the neonazicons and the religious fruitcakes there aren't enough votes to stand a chance against those who completely hate him and the ones who are merely sick and tired of the cracker.

So keep on living And don`t start giving The devil good reasons To get you in the seasons of heartbreak Baby are you tough enough?

John "Lurch" Kerry, a metrosexual? ::snort:: Now I've heard it all... Have you seen the man?

And they will be. There's no way we'll be out of there by November, unless we leave another Afghanistan behind us. As long as we've got troops there, they'll be taking hits.

I already explained how the car decoration was for my kid. Whenever we go out as a family, when we ask which car he wants to go out in, "Spiderman car, dad!"

I have a great kid, btw. sharp as a tack, respectful and polite. I wish I could take credit it for it, but I believe that is the nature of his personality, regardless of my parenting skills.

I don't remember very much loving harmony before Bush was elected, do you? But that's not my point. boots' claim is that GW is THE most polarizing president EVER. He's not - not even close. Now if you'll put your thinking cap on, I'm sure you'll figure out why boots' claim isn't true.
