the letters were interesting reads. although i think it is distasteful to draw up a list, since (as the letter-writers posted out albeit with fascism rather than communism) such lists truly were made up in russia during the stalinist era, for example, i still think it's a valid point to raise. whether they are jewish or not _should_ be irrelevant, but since the neocons are effectively dictating much of the united states' foreign policy in the middle east the issue could not be more pertinent imo.

Maybe I'm failing to see how the neocon agenda is slanted any more toward Israel than US policy has been since the 1960s... If one wants to argue that US policy favors Israel too much, fine, but has the balance tipped further in Israel's favor since Bush took office?
