no matter what your view of the situation in Israel you can't deny this is an escalation.. is it now beyond the point of no return for peace or will it take the death of Arafat to push things that far?

This is also a GOOD thing. Get rid of the terrorists. They DON'T want peace. They keep saying they do but the Homicide bombings continue, They danced in the streets on 9/11 when 3000 people were killed, if you look at the past it is pretty obvious that they don't want peace. Good riddance to bad rubbish. The world should get out of the way and let Israel do it's job in protecting her people.

If they danced, then why not? Not to be cruel here, but when the supporter of your enemy is hurt, then why mourn? Look at today's news, virtually every nation condemned Israel for the murder, but not the US, funny thing that, isn't it?

While we didn't condemn them we also didn't praise them for it.

If your statement is true then how come the rest of the world is NOT mourning the death of this terrorist? He and his organization ARE the enemy of OUR supporter. What do you propose Israel do about the homicide bombers? What do you think they should do with these terrorists? Try and get along with them? Is not the Murder of INNOCENT lives different than the "murder" of this scumbag?
