LONDON, England (AP) -- Monica Lewinsky said Bill Clinton is a "revisionist of history" who lied about their relationship in his new memoir, according to a British newspaper.
In an interview with The Daily Mail, Lewinsky called the former president's account of their relationship dishonest and said he has missed an opportunity to undo some of the damage their entanglement caused her.
And here I thought he may have changed for the better...

Gee, thanks for reminding us of what's really important these days. Why the hell would anyone even begin to think about thousands of dead, uhm no, "liberated" civilians when there's a blowjob to talk about. Good to see you got your moral values as well as your priorities straight.

FWIW, even though this is a dead horse, her concern is not that he lied, but how he characterized the relationship. He was tempted, and gave in. From his perspective, that's likely accurate. She is stating the relationship was equal and consensual, which does not negate his statements.
What people like zim are TRYING to imply is that Clinton raped Monica, but that's not even HER contention.

Oh hell, Zim would like to imply Clinton raped her, she got pregnant and he personally aborted the fetus with Hillary and her lesbian lover and Osama watching in an Al Queida cave in Afghanistan.
Sounds to me like the typical "Other Woman" who thought the man who was f--king her was making love to her.

He painted her out to be a temptress that made him do something he didn't really want to because of it.
Likely Clinton was filling her mind up with BS to keep getting his pinky stinky.

I am? You aren't even close. I don't think Clinton raped Monica.
But this thread went like I suspected. The usual suspects making belittling apologetic comments.
Thanks for not disappointing me.
I thought the Left were supposed to be the ones talking about equality between the sexes. And wouldn't support a Male Chauvinist Pig.

Eh. A lot of that is subjective. Clinton saw her as a temptress and a good chance for a screw. Lewinsky saw him as a lover.
This whole thread deserves a colossal: Meh.

What agenda does she have? She isn't a Clinton hater.
We know this. During the whole shabang, Clinton lied about it. She didn't.
She has no motive. She was just upset that after all these years, he is still lying.

Oh he is lying. No one ever accused him of being a Boy Scout.
As for Monica, I wont try to psychoanalyze her but she's riding the publicity for this as much as he.

I think she is just trying to save as much face as possible.
She isn't innocent by no means. Though she at least deserved the truth. And Clinton again, slapped her in the face.

The handbag agenda.
I hear she still sends him a box of cigars (El Producto Coronas) every birthday and a one of a kind Lewinski handbag to Hilary. She still loves him after all that's happened. That is so sweet. I feel my eyes beginning to moisten...sorry I have to leave now.

Not the affair has ruined her life, but the media attention that she has drawn onto her (other people were pushing the attention towards her, too, of course).
But she is responsible for the choices she has made and so she'll have to live with it. Blaming Clinton for all is kind of immature, I mean, he had to face the consequences for that (with Mrs. Clinton), and he did. They are still married.

I am of the belief that the Clintons marriage is first and foremost, a political one. In the beginning, she saw Clinton has someone who would go far in politics, which he did. Along the way she tolerated his affairs because she knew the destination and now that he got what he wanted, being President, I believe now she thinks its her turn. Just a theory.

Well, the point is just that I don't like the hype about it. An affair is -- like a marriage -- a private matter that nobody except for the persons involved should have anything to say about. In a way Clinton is like Kennedy who also had his affairs (`Happy Birthday' by Marilyn Monroe), but it didn't affect his track record as a president.
So even if this marriage is a political or strategical one (which is just a guesstimate), it's still their marriage. Since I don't believe that neither Mrs. nor Mr. Clinton are `forced' to be married, it's their thing. I actually don't care.
