So I was waiting for my plane to come back home, and was reading through that article about how the Bush administration is cutting funds for the NPS right and left. This stroke home right away, since I just had been to the wonderful Joshua Tree National Park, only to find that one of the campground was no more manned due to fund cuts. I find it humorous that the Bushies would want to make sure the richer in this country can buy bigger SUVs and homes and whatnots by cutting their taxes and at the same time is slowly killing one of the most amazing National Park system in the world.

FYI, the article is available for those registered at the following URL

Villa

PS For those of you who appreciate a very quiet campground in amazing surroundings there is the Jumbo Rock campground in JT national Park. You won't regret it.

PPS Get rid of Bush in November.
