Isn't this the dreaded *old world's* appeasnik's indictment against us too?

From here:
"Your actions indicate that you used your self-defense declaration as a pretext to strike a target, which you rashly decided was an enemy firing position, and about which you had exhausted your patience in waiting for clearance from the Combined Air Operations Center to engage," General Carlson wrote, adding, "You used the inherent right of self-defense as an excuse to wage your own war."
Switch the "Combined Air Operations Center" with the UN SC and this statement sums up Bush's actions with Iraq.

And I thought Alice in Wonderland strange. Truth beats fiction every day.

Beam me up, Scotty.

Ohhhh, oK, wait, I think i get it now.

Our pretzeldente, because he is above and beyond the law (so says smarty pants lawyers paid by the White House -- well, actually, i mean, by us), he can send us to war for no good reason, and yet the boots on the ground (or, as in this case, in the air) can be charged for not following through with better reasons to wage the non-sensical war they were sent to fight! Right?

And not only that, but the man who started this non-sensical war (with the immortal words of: "Fu*k Saddam") gets off scot free, without punishment, or acceptance of responsibility, with his pretzeldente "get-out-of-jail-free" card, and, furthermore, is likely to immensely profit in the re-telling of this international and domestic fiasco, with wasted treasure of human blood and cold hard cash (unless you loaded up on Halliburton stock), not to mention the good will of the world toward us, with his hackneyed patois of a Texan accent (even tho he is a silver spoon fed elitist eastern blue blood through and through) in a book that will be ghost written for him, entitled: My Life as a God

With any luck, we can make it, My Brief Life as an unlikely God: Until I was sent to Hell, where I belonged

Ahhh, sheeit! Beam me up, Scotty.

Sorry to interrupt this discussion you are having with yourself, but you're pretty out there. I am grateful that those who share your extreme views remain a small minority.
