Public Displays of Affection

Yes, I do understand that people shake hands, pat each otehr on the back, and have to be close to talk to each other sometimes. It just so happens that the collage of pictures is kind of amusing.

"I've been covering Washington and politics for 30 years. I can say I've never seen this much touching between two men, publicly," e-mailed one wire photographer.

Your persecution complex is getting worse. Have that stick-removal surgery A.S.A.P and develop a sense of humor already.

That collection of images is downright hilarious, and it’s not ‘homophobic’ to recognize it! What’s up with the Kerry ‘cheek pat’? “There, there! Cheer up there lil’ buckaroo!”

BWHAHAHA!

I'm no fan of either of those guys, but any way you slice it — those pics are freakin hilarious. "Candidate Handling," hehehehe.

Ever notice how conservatives are proud to be called a conservative - while liberals try to deflect, hide, or run from being called a liberal.

We are proud, thank you very much.

... not sure how anyone is making them look gay. Perhaps you think they look gay, but no one made you think that. Must be a personal issue.

However, the pics are pretty funny...

The picts are funny because they lead no indication of what you're supposed to believe.

Some people automatically go "HOLY CRAP THEY'RE GAY!" and others go "Haha, that's ridiculous!". And then there is the select few that go "THEY'RE NOT GAY! NO REALLY, THEY CAN'T BE. I LOVE THEM TOO MUCH!"

Heh. Pretty much right on.

Also, notice if you will, the ONLY people who immediately associated ‘gay’, and even attached a negative connotation.

Yep. Telling.

The usual suspects, demonstrating their usual mode of doing themselves what they accuse others of “going to do”.

How did conservatives "make" them look gay? Did conservatives kidnap their families, holding them at knifepoint while instructing "You two Johns, embrace each other. Caress each other's hair and faces. Look into each other's eyes lovingly, or else we are going to behead your family"?

I didn't know Dubya and the Prince were dating. What do you buy the man who has everything?

I don't think it's that Kerry and Edwards look gay - the problem is that all the PDA seems so transparently phony. Kerry just needs to accept the fact that personal warmth is not one of his strong suits.

He did tell a pretty good joke, though: "John Edwards and I have something in common: he was voted one of People Magazine's sexiest politicians. I read People Magazine."

YOU still haven’t figured out the original has nothing to do with your ‘homophobia’.

The same would be funny had he chosen Hillary as his running mate, and the two of them were all fuax ‘lovey-dovey’ and cheek patting each other. And you’d STILL be clueless.

Develop a sense of humor before your bitter paranoia over everything destroys you.
