Apple is delivering, free of charge, 36 9/11 Commission Hearings through the iTunes Music Store. The hearings cover the initial staff statement from March 23, up through the FAA's response, delivered June 17.

Nasrudin sat on a river bank when someone shouted to him from the opposite side: "Hey! how do I get across?" "You are across!" Nasrudin shouted back.

Are they also selling the missing national security documents that Clinton NSA chief Sandy Berger stole from a secure reading room during preparations for the 9/11 commission?

Free for those who have a credit card... in USA, UK, De, or Fr. Bah.
I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

you need a credit card to get something free?

It isn't available in any country of the world, but where it is available, it is free. This is of interest in the USA only anyway.

You must have a credit card in order to get the "free" audio hence it is not free. Why your assumed interest demographic of the audio is dragged into the discussion is beyond me. Free is free for anyone who has the interest of acquiring it anywhere in the world. This is not free.

Free:

adv.
1. In a free manner; without restraint.

2. Without charge.

It's not without restraint (you have to have an iTMS account), but it is without charge. Therefore it's free in one of the senses of the word.

I'm sorry to hear that you are interested in it but not able to download the audio from this source. Understand that this is not my fault.
A Pan-European will be available around october.
