"No doubt these are dry runs for a terrorist attack," the Times quoted an anonymous air marshal as saying.
"Given the facts, they had no legal basis to take an enforcement action. But there was enough of a suspicious nature for the FAMS, passengers and crew to take notice," Adams said.
yeah.
Fact: they were Muslim
Fact: they were moving and breathing

Conclusion: they are dangerous.

The Arabs tried to videotape the takeoff, made multiple trips to the restroom and congregated in the area until crew members intervened.
Only Arabs videotape planes taking off. Or is it that since they never do it, once they start the habit, it becomes suspicious?

Reminds of that thread about the use of truck drivers as informants: "If you see anyone with a dark skin and wearing a strange hat, call 9-11 immediately to report!"

How shocking. What in the world do groups of young Middle Eastern men have to do with terrorism? Everyone knows that 80-year-old American church ladies carried out 9/11. They're the ones who should be profiled!
Darn right! They are the most dangerous thing on the highway after the 16-25 yrs old cohort of drivers!

I am really tired of this kind of journalism.

I prefer canadian-bashing. At least I have a good reason to laugh then. That is just stupid.

How convenient that angaqok did not quote this particular line from the article.

A pilot reported another flight in which an air marshal broke into a lavatory that an Arab had locked himself into for a long time. The man had removed the mirror and was trying to break through the wall, on the other side of which was the cockpit, the pilot said.

Yep, just normal behavior here people. Nothing to see here. Move along. I always lock myself in bathrooms when flying and I enjoy removing mirrors, while attempting to hack through the walls.

No source, pachead, and all three places reporting it (Washington Times, Newsmax and scotsman, all regurgitating the same story) have the other one wrong. So likely the lavatory story didn't quite happen as it is written there.

At least now we can see the mechanisms by which you come to your false beliefs.

So you are claiming that this whole story is a fraud and that the Washington Times is guilty in repeating these lies ?

So you are claiming that the Washington Times should be required reading in fraud investigations?

See how you just felt when you read that? Please try not to make me feel like that when I read your posts. Thanks.

Well, you are the one who is claiming that my beliefs are false, based upon what I read in that article. I am not making any claims here, I merely quoted what was in the article.

I'm not too familiar with the Washington Times. Do they have a history of reporting fraudulent or bogus news stories or something ?

No, that would be the Washington Post, or the New Your Times.
