OK, here's a nice non-partisan conspiracy theory (umm .. at least neither Dems nor Reps are running around asking questions about it).

Maybe Flight 77 isn't actually what hit the Pentagon ? Flash Movie (not dial-up friendly). Funny ... I did a google image search and y'know ... there really isn't any image of the supposedly wrecked plane ... only a hole in the pentagon

Another pic Where's the plane ?? Where's any sign that it made any impact prior to hitting the Pentagon at nearly ground level ?

Actually, I saw news footage on that day of plane wreckage at the pentagon.

I haven't looked for it now, but the local news showed it.
If this post is in the Lounge forum, it is likely to be my own opinion, and not representative of the position of MacNN.com.

Hearsay !!!! I want some proof I'd swear I remember the plane too ... 'cept I can't seem to find anything supporting this idea now. What happened to all the photos/footage with the plane in it ?? Anyone have a link to anything that can debunk this ??

On a side note: I also recently saw the Zapruder footage of the JFK assassination ... Grassy Knoll my @ss

A collision such as that isn't going to leave many big pieces anyway. You wouldn't expect to see a tail or a wing or anything like that.

I never knew about the camera recording it. That frame with the supposed plane in it certainly didn't look like a 757. If there's something we're not supposed to know, we're probably never going to know it. Interesting, though. Kudos on the Fight Club soundtrack.

The Pentagon. Home to some of the most important (by some definitions anyway) state secrets in the country. And suddenly, a plane zooms in and literally splits it wide open, down to the innermost levels. The security problems inherent in such a scene ae outright frightening, and not something the Pentagon would be prepared to tolerate.

The average time for a NASCAR pit crew to refill a race car's tank, change all four tires, and perform other basic maintenance is seventeen seconds. Does it really come as a surprise that the Pentagon would have a cleanup detail with that kind of efficiency, if not better? It is said that they have plans in place for virtually any eventuality; certainly they would have one for something like this.
