So I'm watching Fox between classes, munching some lunch. It's the business segment and they are talking about CEO's and the '04 election.

They are talking, flashing names at the bottom and who they support:
-Steve Jobs supports Kerry
-Bill Gates supports Bush

Discuss?

Well, that's it! I'm selling my beautiful, wonderful Macs and getting a buggy, ugly, PC.

Ok, if (D)Steve Jobs were running against (R)Bill Gates for president who would you vote for?

(maybe this is lounge stuff)

That's tough... probably Gates (though it would pain me). I think he has more experience in the important areas.

I'd take the Jobs-Woz ticket rather than the Gates-Ballmer ticket. We'd obviously have a more secure country with Jobs in office. And, if anything, he'll shrink terrorism to something like 3%.

Actually, our population would shrink to 3%... but the ones that are left would look really damned good.

Apple=Democrats
Microsoft=Republicans

It's even in the "feel" of the GUI's. Windows has sort of an Etch-a-Sketch, square cornered dull quality, while Macintosh doesn't lie to the American people about weapons of mass destruction.

"'Jelly Hat' sounds silly," I told Prince. "How about something poetic, like 'Raspberry Beret.'"

Yeah, that must be why Rush is such a staunch advocate for Apple. *ahem*

Bottom line is, creative types love Apple. Whether they be Conservative or Liberal, makes no difference.

Yep Steve Jobs pretty much represents the limo liberal crowd to a tee.

Love it or not America is Microsoft country.
