I've always thought the Daily Show was better than F 9/11. It's funnier, stretches the truth less, is almost always more to the point, and you get new ones several times a week.

Here's a good example.

How so? It is the HEIGHT of the RNC and he is ahead what 2 to 3%?
During the DNC Kerry had almost 320 EV's
Right now Bush has less than a 20 EV lead and that is best case scenario.

LOL "It stretches the truth LESS"

Which isn't that great of an accomplishment when compared to F 9/11

The Daily show is just a Shill for the left.

John even makes jokes about him being a Shill.

I remember when the DS used to make fun of both sides equally.

But now they are being zealous Bush fan boys. They can't control themselves.

John isn't as funny anymore because he TRIES TOO HARD to make fun of Bush instead of just letting the jokes come off naturally.

He makes fun of the other side as well, though you may be right that he does not do that as often. His reason for that? Republicans have a lot of control. They have the Oval Office, the Senate and the House, as he told Republican National Committee Chair, Ed Gillespie.

No that isn't the reason. The reason is because he is a leftist shill.

It's a comedy show. I think every comedian on earth makes fun of Bush more.

What about it? It's not a comedy show. And they have stepped up to offer to debunk anyone that claims they have some sort of "motive"

So far no one has tried to take them up on the challenge. Wonder why.

There's no difference. There's simply more material. The President and his party always gets made fun of more. Give me a break.

gorg I have no problem with Leno they way he does it. Or most any other comedian.

I have even done it myself!

But John does it in a zealous petty way that comes off as condescending and not funny.

The Daily Show's brand of humor is condescending; it's not peculiar to Bush.

I remember one particular episode where he was making SO Many hateful Bush comments (wasn't even comedy) he was getting jeered. He said something to the effect "Pipe down, we will do Kerry tomorrow" and then smiled.

I made sure to watch that show the next day. No Kerry. Still the same Bush tripe.

Even days where Kerry has made a COMPLETE ASS out of himself, that other comedians JUMPS ON ,Stewart will bypass it and go STRAIGHT to the Bush bashing.

This isn't comedy for the sake of comedy. Which is what Leno does. Heck, Letterman is the KING of condescending comedy and he gives them BOTH hell. Stewart's comedy's main purpose is to try to undermine Bush. That is all.

Make ALL the excuses you want. I don't care. I've watched the show. I know what is going on. I have my own eyes and ears.

Bush deserves to be undermined, IMHO.
