It's still serious, but somewhat routine surgery these days.
Sad that so many people eat so much crap they need it... but it's good the surgical techniques are pretty good these days (though costly).
Not uncommon for a guy in his late 50's - 60's to have.
Thankfully, if you catch the chest pain early, and have bit of luck... you can still live a long healthy life if you take care of it, and adjust your lifestyle to be more healthy.
I'm suprised Cheney's been quiet today. Bush and Kerry sent their regards. I would have expected Cheney to say something, or joke about being the veteran when it comes to heart conditions, representing the president.... minor observation, but found it strange.
