September 8th is Rehash Bush's National Guard Service Day.
Even though it has been pretty much agreed upon that (1) Bush's father or father's friend pulled a string or two to get Bush in the Guard's pilot program, and (2) Bush's last year in the Guard points to some shenanigans taking place, the Kerry campaign and the mainstream press feels that these points have not been covered enough.
Page 139 of the Liberal Playbook mentions that in times of deep desperation, rehash the coke accusations. Page 140 directs that, if the coke accusations do not move the polls, rehash the Guard Service.
I just hope we don't get to page 175. That's where Jim McGreevey, in front of a rabid press corps, mentions that he and GWB had a torrid love affair while Bush was Gov. of Texas.
For those who missed page 138, the main directive was to hire Carville.
