Just a clear example of the sort of thinking on BOTH sides of the fence in that conflict and the primary reason why the conflict will NEVER be resolved until either one of the sides pushes the other into the sea.

There's also the remote possibility of a one state solution...

I know, I'll get out of dream world now.

Both sides need bold new leadership to get the process moving.

New leadership that is willing to ignore the hardliners on both sides and punish them severely when necessary.

Yep. They are both bent on driving the other side to the sea... so in the end it will be a one state solution.

Civil war, lol.

A petition signed by 185 prominent right-wing hardline Israelis calls the pullout a "crime against humanity" and urged security forces to disobey orders to evacuate settlements.

So there's 185 radical settlers, big deal. The army will go in there and force them out. Problem solved.

As for civil war, seems like that's what the palestinians need, and that scenario is far more likely.

Umm... statistical majority of Irsaeli's back them, not Sharon's 'plan'.

No way the military's going in there.
