Thanx for pointing out the "click the hot video link" thing. Saved me a few keystokes.

Yeah, about the little 'dying' thing. It helps to ignore that aspect of it.

Cheers!

I think we can safely assume that aberdeenwriter was being sarcastic.

Only partially.

I admit I LOVE military stuff.

Some guys have the construction 'thing.'
Somewhat related to that is the Car/truck 'thing.'

I dig fighters, bombers, attack helicopters, tanks, bombs, missiles, rifles, pistols and etc.

Love to watch war movies.

Joined the Sea Cadet Corps at 14, the Army at 18, the USMC at 27. When the Gulf War was building up I looked into joining an Army Reserve M.I. unit. And as recently as this past spring, was looking into how I might re-up.

A bit over the hill now. Sigh.

YET, I have a philosophical objection to killing and the use of war to achieve what can be accomplished peacefully.

These contradictions aren't easy to explain, much less reconcile to myself!

But, I do make the effort to work on it.

I would dislike the killing part of hunting, I think (never tried it) but love everything else. And I've been fishing and have had good luck at it, but I couldn't stomach taking the fish off the hook.

So, I no longer watch hunting and fishing shows, but still read gun magazines and am thinking of getting a Walther PPK for personal protection.

So, there you are.

Only partially kidding.

A gun! Now you're going to have to murder people like Moore said!

I'd rather have something that doesn't remind me of that Goldeneye Bond movie.

Well, at least you like watching old war movies and stuff. If you were a real lib, you'd be adding commentary about how big an empire America is and how it must be stopped. Trust me, I can't go through a single show on the history channel without him adding his unwanted commentary.

CreepingDeath,

Well, that's part of the equation of owning a gun.

Good judgment, good maintenence, good handling skills, good target, good aim!

Most murders are due to bad judgment. If EVERYONE were required to own a gun (as I believe people in one Texas town are) I believe the murder rate MIGHT go down as murderers would have to think twice before pulling their piece on someone.

Yeah, the 007 thing is a reason not to own one. But it is such a cool looking little pocket gun and highly rated in most every way, when compared to other weapons in the same category.

Him, who? History Channel host, Jack Perkins or Michael Moore or...?

Yeah. Whenever I hear someone talking about gun control I automatically tune THAT out as well! LOL I make believe they're talking about "those OTHER guys!" Not me.

The Second Amendment guarantees all the other Constitutional rights. I think the Assault Weapon ban was kinda silly.

But, I DO wish we were all able to "just get along!"

I was being sarcastic.
My dad seems to thing he's the host and comment on everything. He never shuts up! Then he someone makes a jump to Bush being a Nazi war criminal.

Yeah it's small, but everytime I hear it I think of that fat guy in Russia trying to shoot bond in the balls in that bar. Not a bad movie though.

I'm looking forward to seeing Golden Eye. My favorite was GOLDFINGER, but all the Connery and Brosnan, (Bond) films are good!

Yours sounds somewhat like the TV family on Family Ties.
Michael J. Fox was the conservative with the liberal, former hippie parents. LOL

The mom, Meredith Baxter Birney, was hot, and come to think of it, there was a very small window of time when Justine Bateman was hot, too!

Don't know about now.

Ahhh, the Reagan era!

LOLOL

Sorry, didn't mean to offend.

But It was one of my favorite programs!

LOLOLOL Great FOTO!

Hmmm, Mallory doesn't look so hot there (I think this was taken before she bloomed! lol) but the Mom...yummm!

The blond girl was the one (pig?) you may be thinking of. I never thought much of her, one way or t'other. I could see the other kids being their children, but she just didn't look like the other two, IMHO.

Yup, looks like my sister in blond…little pig.
Wasn't there an episode where the little weenie was afraid that the bullets would go off if he dropped them and got rid of the gun? Pansy.
