So I'm in this Political Science class (architect major, this is just an elective) and we have a paper to write about a close Senate or House race. I picked Alaska at the urging of CNN ("5 Close Races") and an Alaskan classmate. I've been digging for weeks now and have canvased the internet and whatnot, so I'm ok for factual info, but what I don't really have are Alaskan opinions (save for my classmate, and she says Murkowski will pull it out in the end, and she's voting for her). Seeing as I can't survey Alaskans at home, all I have are the opinions of the Alaskan Daily News and other internet sources. This is a semi-long shot, but if anyone on here has any thoughts on the Alaskan Senate Race, predictions, cool facts, rants, etc., they'd be most appreciated. I can't guarentee you being cited in the report, or any manner of fame... just my gratitude for your thoughts

Thanks in advance.
Oh, and right now I think Murkowski will pull it out as well, she seems to have fended off the nepotism thing, and I think people will keep her in to help Stevens with the Senate majority (a couple editorials say this as well).
