What's a pill box?

and what's the point of soliciting votes for a Democrat while at a Democratic rally?

desperate?

I guess you don't have anyone in your family that needs to take medicines every day. Pill boxes come in very handy for people who take some medicines every day but tend to forget to take their pills.

Seems more like you(anti-Kerry people) are getting desperate.

Oh, I get it. When Democrats are in Palm Beach Florida they assume everybody is old and sick - so they hand out pill boxes.

When the Democrats have a rally in, let's say, Oakland California - do they hand out chicken wings, Olde English 40 ouncers, and 'Black Power' afro picks?

When they rally in DC, do they hand out rocks of crack cocaine?

When they rally in Jersey City, do they hand out instructions on how to pump your own gas?

I bet when they rally in Birmingham they hand out Confederate flag license plates and Coors Light.

Spin it as much as you want but next time read the first post:

So all retired people are old and sick?

I'm retiring at the end of this month. I'm 38.

I don't take any medication.

Unlike Republican rallies, people of all political persuasions are allowed to attend.

Take off your tinfoil hat; you're looking stupid.

"...at the Century Village retirement community..."

Of course YOU would be handing out condoms and hip-hop records...

If Dubya gave me a pill box I wouldn't vote for him.

Somebody might conclude that my vote was purchased for the price of a 29cent pill box.

Spin, spin, spin.

I take it you'll be moving to a retirement community then?

No?

You might wait until you're old to do that, if ever?

Well, color me shocked.

Actually, I don't have even a vague idea of what the hell I'm gonna do after this month.

My first stop will be Amsterdam - for some chronic. Then I might look at some castles and whatnot.

A retirement home would be great. I could score with pretty much all the women there.

I know that Pill boxes come in handy for people who take some medicines. This is just in Bad taste at a Polling area. It wouldn't be so bad if they were doing it outside some store or on the corner. Doing this Makes them look desperate for votes. If they were handing out ones without a candidate's name on them I also might not have such an issue with it.

Or, say, an old people's retirement community?

Eh?

That was the funniest post of the day!

Anyway, Century Village is an old-folks home. Why Kerry went THERE to campaign is really questionable.

Secondly, they were giving out tickets via the local newspaper (call a number to get tickets) to go and apparently they had a LOT of them "left over." In other words, no one went. Why? Because there was no parking there for people to park once they got there. It was really odd.

Polling area? Do you not read the stuff you post?

Like I said. The desperation is not coming from the Kerry camp.

Why is it questionable? Are seniors not citizens of the USA? Does Bush not court the senior vote?

Because the elderly can vote?

I'm not sure why you believe there's some sort of suffrage cut-off at retirement...

You've got 6 anti-Kerry/anti-democratic party threads on the top page of this forum right now, four of which you started today. Who's the desperate one again?

a 29 cent pill box buys a vote?

Jeez, somebody tell the Sinclair stations they're spending way too much on the anti-Kerry documentary!

Oh hey, what's this I got in the mail this spring: somebody sent me a Bush-Cheney pin, I guess I have to give them my vote now.

I totally thought this thread was going to be about hats, how Teresa Heinz Kerry doesn't wear enough hats, how can she possibly be first lady if she doesn't wear a pillbox hat. When they have the First Lady debate, Laura Bush will totally win by remaining completely quiet. Oh wai

good for you. Your health is exemplary.

the headline of this thread implies pillboxes were given in exchange for votes...which is not true.

futher, some people tried to equate daily pill minders as supportive of illegal drugs, and when called on that, attempted to say that democrats think everyone is old and sick, and when called on that...

I DO see desperation here, but not in the same place as the original poster.

You keep saying that like it is funny, maybe one day you will have arthritis and do whatever you can to ease it.

I have seen people sting themselves with bees daily to reduce swelling, maybe you should joke about that?

I have severe carpal tunnel and was actually considering trying this for pain easement when I have to edit video once a month.

The compassion runs high round here.
