Ok guys, we need to huddle.

I got the idea from when I was kicked out of a bush rally because I wouldn't sign a Loyalty Oath.
So republicans, you're not allowed to read any further unless you sign the following statement (use a sharpie)

I will vote for John Kerry because Bush is a bad bad man.

Signed,

X

alright, with that out of the way, let's talk turkey.

what's the deal with macnn being overrun with republicocks? I thought mac users were mostly liberal intelligent types.

They are, in general.

It's just that most of them eventually left the Lounge in disgust at some of the crap posted here.

If you look at the presidental poll thread, it doesn't look too much overrun to me - only about 30% republicocks!

Seems like they found a home in the poli forum after contaminating the lounge. Still, I wouldn't worry to much about the Repubs. and Mac users. Most of them that exist in the world seem to congregate here, all 1 of them.
Who, or what actually won the US election? Intolerance. The Bush campaign was built around pushing God down people's throats; attacking Gays; and more Guns for the idiotic. Gays, Guns & God. Congratulations, you just participated in one big joke.

This has to be, bar none, the stupidest thread I've ever seen in this forum. To consider those with differing opinions than your own to be of lesser intellect is one of the highest forms of egoism. And I'm not even going comment further about your RETARDED statement about Mac users being liberal.

I see more left bias on these forums than anything. If, for instance, you had made the same thread from a Republican point of view, you would have been railed on and possibly banned.

Oh and no, I'm not a Republican.

Bullsh¡t.

Railed on, yes; banned, most definitely not. Thread would have been locked.

As it is, he posted it from a Democrat's point of view, he has gotten railed on by one person already - you -, and the thread will likely be locked at some point in the not-too-distant future.

WTF are you complaining about, again?

"Liberal bias", my ass. At least your stupid post complements your assessment of this thread.

What about those of us independent/apolitical? Actually, though, I just came in expecting to see a massive front posted by the GOP on this forum. Slightly disappointed.

This is a computer-generated message and needs no signature.

No one is complaining, least of all myself. I was responding to his stupidity.

I enjoy the opinions of those with different ideas than my own, but have little patience for such blatant idiocy. It's shitty attitudes like this which have "divided the country," not the actions/inactions of a beady eyed Texas puppet president.

I love how "stupid" is such a matter of perspective here.

I disagree.

Oh, and fix0r3d™.

And this thread may be pointless, but it isn't NEARLY as stupid as aberdeen's "foreign agent" one. That one is already headed t'wards legendary.

Headed Towards? That one's enshrined in the Pantheon, my friend. Some of the best internetting in the history of MacNN. I'd rank it up there with Lerk's 3 prongs thread. (Not that I'm knocking Lerk or anything)

Come now, this thread is no less mature than most others, it's just a bit more transparently partisan.

I'm just tired of hearing thing like "The thing I can't stand about those liberals..."

As if all democrats were liberal, when the party has been moving more to the right over the last decade or so. But then again so is the Republican party.

good morning thread

This thread is the cool place to hang out. You can find most of the cool people here. In this thread you can just chill and do whatever and totally relax. "Take it easy" is this thread's motto, for example, that's how laid back it is here. Show up if you want to have a good time. Another good reason to show up is if you want to hang out with friends.

lol, straight to the point too.

I'l chime in again by saying, if you vote Bush, you're voting for a megalomaniac, and tyrant who is hell-bent on destroying this world by his hypocritical rule.

Vote for a man who is running for leader of America; not leader of the free-world

Yeah, and um, Bush is fcukhead, so is DICK Cheney, and that muppet Rummie.

Oh, Republicans are automatons, in dire need of personality injections since they rabble on about the same crap day and night.

There's a reason for that, my dear. See: Mick Ronson (playing guitar on the Ian Hunter album) & Mott the Hoople.
