Oct. 27: A man is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after veering his silver Cadillac toward Rep. Katherine Harris, R-Fla., and supporters in Sarasota, Fla. "I intimidated them with my car," the man told police, according to The Associated Press. "I was exercising my political expression." Harris is the former Florida secretary of state who sparked the ire of Democrats after presiding over the state's presidential recount in 2000.

I wasn't unaware of vehicular homicide being protected speech. She's running for congress now.

That's actually funny.

Instead of bonus points he'll have to negotiate pointed boners in prison, methinks.

I hope all it's worth, in a year or so, is a leisurely lament.

I'm nervous about the after effects of all the passion that's been building.

If one person has already done such a thing, how many have considered similar acts? Pretty scary. I imagine wierd things will start to happen, especially after the election.

I laughed.

As vile a woman as she is, it's a good thing she wasn't injured. Fembot freak probably would've destroyed the car anyway with her eye lasers.

I read a prediction that something very, very bad could happen in 2004-2005. But the prediction was that of a "time traveler" from the year 2036. LOL

I live in Sarasota, and many people are just disappointed in this guy. He had a beautiful opportunity; really, anyone could have succeed.

But, I think I'll be more careful now when sign waving for Kerry.
