On tuesday, who will you be voting for? Just though I'd put up a little poll. Please refrain from from political bashing, insults, anything which might be construed as Political.

I'll be devastated if it turns out any other way!
Just wait for four years until this war on terror stuff is over with. Then you can vote for any democrat you'd like to.

Between Bush and Kerry, I'll take Kerry without a doubt. Given that I live in CA, a state where Kerry will definitely win (knock on wood), I've been thinking about voting for Nader. Maybe I'll make it a game-time decision

Although I agree with many of Nader's positions, I don't think that he would be a particularly good president even if he were electable. Plus, I think every vote for Kerry will be interpreted as a vote for change, and against what the Bush administration has been doing, so I would never consider voting for Nader, despite the fact that Kerry will win Illinois with or without my vote.

One thing to think about - it's possible that Kerry could win the electoral college but not the popular vote. If we ignored the popular vote completely, it wouldn't matter, but we don't. It has an effect on the mandate the president is perceived to have.

I've picked my candidate, but as an Ohioan I'm not going to way whom I chose out loud right now as almost exactly 50% of the voters in my state like the other guy... The Ohio vote should be interesting...

While it would be sweet irony (irony!?), it would also be depressing to know that more people actually voted for this utter failure of a president.

I'm confident that the next president will be voted for by the majority of people, not just the majority of electorals.

The chance of a close election becomes smaller with a good voter turnup.

So. Go vote.

As always, the usual suspects couldn't resist;

This was originally posted in the lounge. Now that it is in the Political Lounge, comments about politics are fair game, as far as I'm concerned.

What, are you following me around Icruise? It had to be moved because your cronies couldn't keep it zipped up. This is usually the case.

I only saw this after it got moved here, so I don't think that is the case. I was moved because the content of the post was blatantly political.

It was a Presidential election poll that begged it's posters not to post anything political. The usual suspects couldn't resist.
