... including a weapon-sales of russian anti-aircraft missile-system to Syria that Israel and the US vehemently protest again. The US even goes so far as to threaten with economic sanctions against Russia if it sells that system to Syria.
Israel is against it because it would mean the end of Israel's domination over Syria's airspace that Israel has often used for airraids and airbombardments.
Here is the BBC-report that also talks about Russia planning to write off 73% of Syria's debt that dates back to Soviet-times:

Syria for trying to protect their citizens from Israeli/US aggression.
US/Israel for continuing the transparent imperialism.

For the USA and others for trying to stop this craziness.
Russia for even considering selling such devices.

The Soviet Union was always selling arms to countries like Syria, Jordan and Egypt to prop against the French supplied Israel (America only started to sell arms to Israel after the Soviet Union started to ally with those Arab countries who didn't recognize Israel's existence in direct violation of the UN charter which the Soviet Union agreed to).
Typical russians.

Actually Syria is not hostile to Israel anymore. Syria has numerous times tried to restart peace-talks with Israel, but Israel doesn't want to as it would have to give back the Golan-heights.
Besides it's Syria's good right to purchase anti-aircraft-missile-systems to deter Israel from violating Syria's airspace.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA
Yeah they don’t sponsor the terrorists that still send rockets over to the upper Galilee and Golan... no they don’t of course! What was I thinking they don’t have undisturbed hezbollah training camps everywhere! Take off the blindfold my friend; Syria was extending a hand covered in blood. We told them straight back. They want peace negotiations start taking care of the camps that they support and we will talk. Till then piss off.

I'm sorry I wrote that in a bit of a rush. It's not a violation of any UN charter but I was merely pointing out that the Soviet Union recognized the state of Israel as did the UN, but then basically started to support the arab states which didn't recognize Israel after Israel didn't form in the way the Soviet Union desired (ie. communist).

And?
They are talking about selling AA-missiles to Syria. How is that a bad thing? It can only be used for defensive measures. There is some talk about the Iskander-3 missile but neither Russia nor Syria have talked about that. That is coming from Israel and the US.

Eh, the US also supported arabic countries that didn't recognise Israel-> Iraq under Saddam Hussein for decades for example.

I wonder how many minutes it's going to take for a terrorist to get them in their hands?
I can already hear Syria "well, we put them in a fully fueled truck with " The Club " on it... it's not our fault"

I see you've bought into the Zionist/States story.
But to give you the chance to prove your "point" can you show what Syria has ever given to the Palestinian resistance.

It was pretty obvious what those weapons were going to used for. Syria, Jordan and Egypt didn't really have anything on their mind besides Israel. It was the focus for nearly all their military operations.

You mean you and the US have trusted that Iraq would use its weapons only against communists and Iran, but not against Israel?
Besides the weapons Syria wants to buy are defensive-anti-aircraft missiles. Syria already has other missiles that can reach all Israel, but they don't have missiles that can succesfully protect its own airspace from Israel's airraids!

At the moment, I pretty well doubt Syria would dare attack Israel, and if they're defensive missiles, that's ok. All nations have the right to defend themselves.

If Syria were not a threat to Israel then Syria would not have to worry about getting such weapons from anyone.
Israel is not going to randomly attack Syria. Get over it.

What the heck are you talking about? Israel often enters Syria's airspace with its military-planes and has sometimes attacked targets in the last few years in Syria while flying in Syria's airspace; and similar but even more often in Lebanon.

However those have been terrorist sites only... ones that Syria herself should have been taking care of but hasn?t. That?s why after all these years of us flying into Syrian airspace they have never taken it as acts of war and started fighting again. Cause they know they have no leverage. They are allowing terrorist camps to operate inside their land unheeded unchallenged and undisturbed. So they will pay the price.
