And has been said. My point is not to tell Americans to get their noses out of Canadian politics, but to point out to the Americans that get all upset when Canadians get their noses into American politics that Americans do it to.

Well it would appear a few of our disgruntaled voters actually carried through with their threats to move north.

Who mentioned polititians? These are private citizens... just like how you guys were telling us who to vote for last Nov (and it backfired on you).

Not at all.

We are talking about a movement that is subsidized from the U.S. to favor a political stand here against same-sex mariage.

I am not sure Canadians have invested money in tracts, pamphlets and postcards etc. to influence the vote in the U.S.

Somehow I don't think "Focus on the Family" would be doing any differently on this topic of same-sex marriage in Canada had Canadians not shown a strong interest in American politics.

Again, I have no problems with this as I see the US and Canada closely linked both culturally and economically, just don't complain about Canadians trying to influence American politics when Americans are more than willing (and much more able) to influence Canadian politics.

Don't stop with Canada.

Maybe Canada can actually crack down on political activism by tax exempt churches since American politians seem to lack the ethics or balls to do it.
