so, if you receive money from a candidate to support them on your blog, you have to say as much? that is what i have gotten out of this piece of legislation. isn't that a standard practice anyway, if a candidate pays for a commercial on TV or radio, they have to disclose that by saying "this commercial paid for by <insert name>". i know that is the requirements put forth by the mccain-feingold in federal elections and followed in the last election.
i don't see where it requires that if you have a blog, you can't say what you think about candidate x or y during a campaign. it doesn't seem to me to be an attack against free speech, rather fee speech.
