And the current govenor is anything different from Warren Beatty? Yet another actor with political aspirations in the state of California.
What are the odds?
cheers

I realize that Arnold may need elocution lessons. But at least he has an excuse: He's an Austrian who learned to speak English. What's Warren's excuse?
Besides, ever notice that he's always dazed and confused? Oh, and the dirt someone could dig up on that guy? Halle Berry affair for starters.
(Not that I blame him...it WAS Halle Berry.)

Funny, our esteemed President could probably learn a thing or two about American English and public speaking from Warren Beatty...

Arnold, as it turns out, is just a regular ol' politican dressed up in celebrity clothing, with the usual, almost pathological addiction to stretching the truth. Most of what he promised in his campaign is now a distant memory, and he's vacuuming up special interest money faster than the annoying Gray Davis ever did. I remember him holding up a broom and promising to "clean up Sacramento", and that he would never take other people's money since he had plenty on his own, and now he's holding regular big-money fundraisers at several thousand dollars a plate.
I don't think California Democrats would actually nominate Beatty - it's like fantasy football to some people to see if they can float the idea of another famous actor running against Arnold. Besides, at the rate Arnold is going, Cali Dems won't need a celebrity - any ordinary politician should be able to take him out with his very low approval ratings.

I'm pretty sure his annoying accent is an affectation. He's been in American for 40 years now, and he hasn't been surrounded by Austrians all that time.

The nice thing about Arnold is that he's married to a democrat who whispers in his ear a lot - his policies reflect Maria.

What an utterly moronic statement to make. You could just as well be referring to President Bush there bucko. And if English language skills are your litmus for good governance than I am sure you'll be estatic when the current Austrian accent speaking current governor is booted out of the governor's mansion next election.
