France, the impotent, no longer significant country filled with appeasers, pro-terrorists and an anti-USA population and government shows the civilized world once again why France is no ally to the US or to any civilized people on the face of the earth. France is an enemy right up there with Iran and other barbaric countries. Liberating France was one of the big blunders of the twentieth century.
Iran is a significant, respected player in the Middle East which is playing a stabilizing role, French Foreign Minister Philippe Douste-Blazy said Monday, during a visit to Lebanon.
“It was clear that we could never accept a destabilization of Lebanon, which could lead to a destabilization of the region,” Douste-Blazy said in Beirut.
“In the region there is of course a country such as Iran - a great country, a great people and a great civilization which is respected and which plays a stabilizing role in the region,” he told a news conference.
I'm sure that the US already has multiple plans for military action against Iran, I hope that plans for France are also on the table, you never know when they might come in handy.

Why is there an apostrophe on "retard's." Is there a "retard" in possession of an "in area?"

It's obvious why France are the enemies of the USA.
The USA is basically a big load of Englishmen on a very long vacation. And the French hate the English because we're better at archery than they are. And we have larger wedding tackle.

Isn't it a slight exaggeration to say that France is the enemy of the U.S. They just disagree about stuff, that is all.

The French have taken the opposite stance of the United States on nearly every international issue since World War II. That doesn't make them our enemy, necessarily. The antithesis, perhaps.
Plus they don't shave their armpits.

On every issue are you sure about that one?
About the armpits do you shave yours, how would you know? And why is it important?

They can shave or not shave their armpits, but in either case deoderant at least on a hot day would be helpful.
The French seem to hate air conditioning and deoderant but otherwise I'm ok with them most of the time.

Monique, don't be a literalist.
Not every issue, no.
I clip my armpits to where it's almost nothing. My wife shaves hers. If my wife did not shave her armpits and allowed little orangutan hairs to sprout forth, it would be nauseating. If you disagree, then you obviously don't shave yours. But I wouldn't want to out you on that, so let's leave that one alone, shall we?

My grandfather spilled blood on French soil, still talks about it, and wonders why many of the French have so easily forgotten. That was recent enough.
He still goes over every few years and has a meal with the family that took him after he was shot. They could've been killed for harboring him. They're excellent people. Not all French are the same, and they prove it.

I actually think France is being particularly astute by stroking Iran's ego and including it in solving the Lebanon crisis. Makes Iran feel important and less likely to pursue military options, commits them to eliminating Hezbollah and keeps the West out of an area where its presence would likely cause more problems.

I had an ex-girlfriend who didn't shave her armpits. It wasn't good. She wasn't French.

Well, the stance on Iran is arguable, but they also say that no discussion should be established with Syria, which they seem to think he's the bigger player in helping Hezzbollah. Interestingly, your article does not mention any of that hence your total ignorance about it.

I'm not sure if anybody cares what the French think.
Perhaps that's the driving force behind their hatred of all things non-French.

Ah, the mantra of the right, gays, guns, God and 'let's hate France'. Of all our allies in Europe France is equal to England in the support and cooperation that they have provided. You damn them for looking out at time for their political or economic interest with some misguided assumption that everyone should lock step behind the U.S. policies. Has it even crossed your mind that perhaps they are acting in conjunction with the U.S. on this, that they are playing the role of the carrot while we are the stick?
From a Brookings Institute report:
"Jacques Chirac has gone as far as any French President could to discard taboos on intelligence-sharing and military co-operation with the U.S." France vigorously supported the invocation of NATO's Article V mutual defense guarantee in September and U.S. proposals in the UN Security Council to legitimate a military strike on Afghanistan and to create international authorization to freeze the funds of terrorist organizations. In Europe, French law enforcement has been active in pursuing Al-Qa'eda cells in France and in cutting sources of terrorist financing. In December, French authorities arrested Ahmed Laidouini, a Frenchmen of Algerian descent, who is suspected of serving as a liaison between Al Qa'eda cells in Europe."
When the World Trade Towers were attacked Le Monde ran this headline:
“We are all Americans.”
The French sent thousands of troops and one quarter of their navy to assist in Afghanistan. When we sent our Special Forces teams in the French already had Spec. Ops teams fighting with the Northern Alliance and it was through the relationships that they had built over the years that we were able to establish such a quick and successful relationship with those forces. The only non-US air forces to conduct attacks in Afghanistan were French. France also sent troops to the Balkans and Kosovo to relieve the US responsibility for reconaissance forces there so those troops could be reassigned to Afghanistan. There are French Special Forces troops actively hunting Osama bin Laden on the border with Pakistan and only the French and US are actively training the new Afghan army. French forces are also with US forces in Haiti and in areas of Africa.
When it comes to things economic or political are the French in it for themselves. Certainly, at times their arrogance rivals or even supercedes our own. One can even question the motives, if its truely just to oppose the US on a given issue to gives the presumption that France is still a major player on the world stage (which, by size of their economy they still are, though dawrfed by our own). But to imply that France is an enemy of the US to the point that they should be invaded is the equivalent of saying Massachusetts and Pennsylvania should fight a war because both look out for their own interest at the government till.

It is also an astonishing coincidence that all the gay Canadians are drama queens, prone to much hyperbole.
For example: "War" becomes "genocide". Or "never had a gay relationship" becomes "homophobic".

I don't think the French, in general, are enemies of the US. I'm sure there are some Frenchmen who are, but then again, there are Americans who are.
All in all, the French are just misguided and yearn to be a bigger part of the world scene than they are. They long to be a power, but they are not.

Are you quite sure that the poster meant "tenants", not "tenets"?
Wiping a philosophy off the face off the planet is not genocide. Unless you want me to accuse you of genocide on the Nazis, that is.
Does all this stuff enter your brain in its hyperbole state or does it enter normally and get amped up whilst in there?

Genocide is defined by the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (CPPCG) Article 2 as "any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group
The Palestinians is not a nation (By Troll's own admission) Not an ethnic group, or a religious group or a racial group.
So much for that.
(Not that I would condone such a thing before SWG knee-jerks again)
