Oooooh, that's terrible, except for that many things in that photo are photoshopped, like the smoke and buildings. The photograper is the same photographer that took those laughable dead baby propaganda pictures in Qana.

Bad intent on the photographer's part. However, I'd guess it's just incompetence on Reuters' part for not picking up on the fake.

Anyways, the strange part is the supposed original photo conveys the same message, so there is absolutely no point in doctoring it.

The Qana photos weren't photoshopped, but there was disussions about them being staged. This new photo from Lebanon which is definitely a fake, makes the photographer's motives clear and reveals him as a liar and a person possessing terrible photoshop skills.

If you want more smoke, there are a bunch of better ways. Use gray and do a "make clouds" filter. Blur your cloned areas together a bit. Put them in another layer, flip them, distort them. Whatever.

This was just crappy photoshopping.

Beyond that, who's the photo editor that let this one slip by? Hello? Do you even LOOK at the pictures?
