This isn't some Telegraph article meant to scare old ladies, this is a substantial find by the Independent: there are hundreds of terror suspects under surveillance, and many dozens of terror cells within the UK which have bombs and other weaponry.

Suspected terrorists were planning to unleash a wave of "apocalyptic" attacks on land and air, using an arsenal of bombs and weaponry, including firearms, investigators have discovered.

But security sources estimate that as many as 1,200 people here are actively involved with terrorism, and that the country is still under "very severe" threat from other potential terrorist plots. This, they added, explained why there were no immediate plans to lower the current national threat assessment from "critical", its highest level.

I can not believe that there are this many terrorists operating in Blighty, and that they are being facilitated by universities

The Sunday Telegraph reported that it had uncovered a dossier of " extremist Islamic literature" at London Metropolitan University, one of whose students was arrested last week. Material included documents advocating jihad and a pamphlet on how to deal with approaches from the security services.

There has been a large influx of Islamics over the past few years there, clearly many of them the radical type. I actaully heard Rush Limbaugh (liberals screech here) talk about this months ago and what it could mean for the UK. I guess he was right.

It's a very unfortunate situation. Frankly, I would say deport 'em all, but I know that nearly all of the Muslim immigrants in their 40's+ are lovely chaps who just want to make a living. If only their sons were like that.
