Oh god, I can't stop crying. The clergy there were so nice to me back in 1998, what a horrible thing.

People reported they heard a “boom”, probably terrorist action is suspected.

Been scouring the news for 20 minutes, nothing up anywhere else yet.
Been inclined to wander... off the beaten track.
That's where there's thunder... and the wind shouts back.

From those pictures, it looks like the dome of the cathedral was under constrtuction. This could simply be a construction accident....

Didn't take long for a jackass to show up.

That's why he's gonna kill us. So we got to beat it. Yeah. Before he let's loose the marmosets on us."

Yeah, somehow it was clear you'd post in this thread sooner or later.

/BTW, I'm not condoning or applauding this in any way shape or form. It just seems like something the Russian mob would do, if somebody wasn't cooperative.

Isn't that an insult to jackasses all over the world? They're actually very docile and pleasant-tempered animals for the most part. It's why we use them for Grand Canyon tours.

No mention of terror here. Probably a construction accident, as mentioned before. Sad.

Don't be so quick on that - see how it plays out. Many times the BBC doesn't mention terrorism so as not to inflame the delicate UK political situation. Most of the Moscow explosions which kicked off the last Chechnya excursions were initially reported by the BBC as gas explosions, not bombs. See how it plays out for a couple of days.

No mentioning of terroristic acts here either yet!

Why should they if they don't know yet??

Very sad, that's true!

What a damn shame. I saw it in person in '86. Here's what it looks like without the scaffolding.

Well the terrorists that did this will get caught and I would not want to get caught by the Russian police and they will go to hell after they fall down from a flight of stairs.

What, you don't KNOW that all welders are just a front for Muslim terrorists? Why do you think they wear those plastic burkhas on their heads with the little slit to see through? Yeah, give me your modesty excuse. It's a uniform and if it's war they want, war they are going to get. Welders = Hamas = Hezbollah = Syria = Iran = Saddam = Al Qaeda. Deny it all you want - I say there's too much grey in your world.

PS Dakar, that's in one of those countries that's not with us right? I looked it up. It's in Africa. Africa isn't one of the countries we like. I'm thinking you might be a foreign agent or one of Islam's Best Soldiers. Watch out or I'll report you to Matt Drudge.
