The authority to shoot down jet airliners was given after United 93 had crashed.

It took time to make that decision because such an attack and such a decision had never been a reality before.

Because the President sat and listened to a class while being kept apprised (the folks walking up and whispering in his ear) did not immediately order airliners to be shot down when they were being grounded, told to divert course and land, is not an indictment.

5 years ago, when the planes hit the towers here in nyc, i wanted my president readying the entire military to find and kill saddam...er i mean, osama--not wasting time
