In the past few days whose tried to cooperate and who hasnt?

The Rep. posters have tried to be calm and not fight with the Dem. posters in the spirit of harmony and unity.

Why have the Dems kept arguing?

Should the Reps start arguing again?

Like the Israelis and the Palsetinians. When the Israelis obey the cease fire the Pals don't care.

Is that why the Israelis keep suffering because they are honorable and their foe isn't?

Well that model stinks.

If the truth be known maybe that's why the Dems. oppose Israel because they fight like the Pals. When the other side tries to make peace they keep attacking.

OK. If that's what you want, don't say we didn't try. Game on.

Brethren? Abe/Aberdeenwriter/Mojo2/Marden, this is just an internet forum. There is no crusade. I don't think anybody is interested in being "converted" to the religion of Abe, or whatever you call what it is you believe. We are just a bunch of dudes on an internet forum with opinions no more right nor wrong than yours. You do not have access to any other special information that we don't, unless you pay to subscribe to some news sites. We all can use Google to find articles reinforcing our preexisting beliefs. Your opinion on what random websites and articles you pull up are accurate is no more specially tuned than ours.

You are not the Messiah here with a special political message that will heal our souls. You are just a dude with an opinion just like any one of us. I think I speak for everybody here when I say that nobody here is interested in paying attention to your persistent haranguing encouraging us to change our beliefs. We are no more likely to change our beliefs than you are yours.

If you want to influence our beliefs, this is not the way to do it anyway. A little subtlety and less obnoxiousness may help, in case you really are interested. You seem smart enough to know this though, which is why I often think you're just blabbering on to hear yourself talk.

As I said before it is becoming increasingly important that we stop treating each other as the enemy when the real enemy wants us to continue our in-fighting like they want the civil insurrections to continue in Iraq.

The first ones to try to start up a fight would be those who would benefit somehow from keeping us apart.

Right now, because there is so much camaraderie between the genuine liberals and the instigators, it's hard to know who is whom.

And you respond to that attack as though you have embraced the instigators and have become 'one' with them. But they do not have your same love of America or our institutions. The Israelis had no fight with the Lebanese. But to get at the Hezbollah guys Israel had to decimate Lebanon.

Because it's hard for us to know who is the instigator and who is the American patriot liberal we just pound "YOU GUYS," almost indiscriminately.

This Chavez thing has made it crystal clear for me. He is looking to exploit a socio-economic demographic here in America and the B.S. he pulled this week is helping prepare a resistance movement here and if push comes to shove these people might be important to Chavez. And now the authorities have to expend resources and manpower to keep an eye on these fux!

There are some here who are just unwitting dupes. But there are others who have a plan and are rolling it out right before our eyes.

I guarantee you guys that Marden = Mojo2/Abe/Aberdeenwriter, there are just too many parallels. In my opinion, this is so true it's barely even debatable.
