Do Extreme Liberals Blink Less Than Normal People?

I will admit this writer may be onto something with this observation.

The dedication of Liberal bloggers to the truth is less than overwhelming; of course you knew that didn’t you. Liberals are liars. If you don’t believe me just watch “Lassie”…err former Senator, Presidential Candidate, and Vice-Presidential Candidate John Edwards whenever he answers a question about the war. He bats his eyes like a Main-Street hooker. Watch Joe “Plagiarizer” Biden whenever he answers a question about national security, he appears to have suddenly gotten a piece of sand in his eyes, blink-blink-blink-blink. In fact the blink reflex is a relatively good indicator of a person’s veracity. When the individual is telling the truth, their eyes blink normally like everyone else, but let them leave the realm of fact for the dodgy terrain of untruth and suddenly their eyes are all a flutter. I suspect if we were to put all the Liberal politicians together in the same room, they would be able to power a windmill and reduce the energy requirements of DC. Once you know this truth, it can be quite amusing to watch Democrats as they struggle with the truth. It’s not infallible, but it is useful.

http://mensnewsdaily.com/2006/08/29/...nce-deafening/
But when watching TV I have noticed that really liberal, extremely liberal people have a scary look where their eyes seldom blink and are not expressive. Like they are zombies or something.

Anyone ever notice this? Anyone got any info or links to prove, support or disprove this idea?

You're arguments are so ridiculous they are actually entertaining. I also salute your ability to cite objective news sources in your threads.

Your desperation to seek out differences between liberals and conservatives merely reveal your true wish to separate those two entities and divide the country further.

Did anyone else notice that the article says liberals and liars blink more, but marden then says he thinks liberals blink less?

No, that was a grown up transition from one theory to a tangential idea. Some liberals blink a lot when they lie. EXTREME liberals don't blink much at all. You'll recognize the transition I made and see it more clearly once you gain powers of critical reading.

A subtle but definite transition.

No, just be aware of people who are extremely liberal and see if they blink less.

OR

Oh damnit. They figured it out. Now we're going to need to get out that firmware update to fix the blinking issues.

I think that we need to change some things around here. First, the term "extreme liberals" relies too much on the worn-ragged term "extreme" without resorting to the cliché "Xtreme" of Doritos and Right Guard. But still. It could use an "update."

According to MacOS X's Dictionary/Thesaurus, extreme has the following synonyms: utmost, drastic, radical, dangerous and furthest. Liberal has the following synonyms: tolerant, progressive, wide ranging, abundant, generous. Of course, one of those has already been "claimed" by liberals.

So, in lieu of "extreme liberals," I propose the use of UtmostProgressives™ (please note the use of innerCaps.)

We now return you to our regularly scheduled bickering amongst the UtmostProgressives™ and the DrasticTraditionalists.™

Actually, if you look at footage from Howard Dean during his presidential campaign, you'll find that he actually had a blinking PROBLEM.

Too much blinking.

Umm, Extreme Liberals don't do anything like normal people. Don't tell me you are just coming to this conclusion now, Abermojarden?
One should never stop striving for clarity of thought and precision of expression.

I think we should officially spell "extreme liberals":

XTreme Liberals

This way, they can appeal to gen-xers.

Let me ask you this: Are you for or against the common good? And did you ever consider that extreme liberals might actually be zombies?

If you'd rather not answer here -- I don't want to hijack your thread -- let me know, and I'll start a new thread. Some very interesting political issues today.

I'm FOR the common good, a good I consider to be resisting the forces which might threaten our way of life and our system of government as well as freedom, life, liberty and democracy around the world.

Though they sometimes appear to be zombie-like I never thought that libs might actually BE zombies.

If you start a thread on this I'll show up.
