I thought a dirty bomb already went off in an NFL stadium this weekend, but then my wife told me it was just the Bills losing again.... while watching the game, it was hard to tell the difference.

Once again the little administration that cried wolf...

If terrorism is the only card you have, play it.

Doesn't surprise me. Ever had a chili dog at a stadium?
I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.

Did you even read the article?

It says they're SKEPTICAL about the threats.

If negative banter is the only card you have, play it.
All men are created equal, but what they do after that point puts them on a sliding scale.

Some people like living in fear of fear so let them have their moment.

For reals. And imagine what some of these teams could do when they lose some of that salary cap baggage!

Some people think it's cool and fun to speak bravely about deadly threats. Let them be the ones who say that from ground zero.

Um... the administratation is saying that they don't think it will happen. How is that crying wolf? I'm no fan of the administration, believe me, but this time, at least, they're apparently not the ones overreacting.

Maybe they should let you translate the terrorist's text messages, audios and videos yourself and set up your own intelligence system, brainstorm.

I wouldn't put it past the current administration to plant the story and then knock it down -- anything to get terrorism into the news. Again, they have no other cards to play in these last few weeks before losing control.

Raiders need list:

*A new owner.
*A new team.
*A win.
*A new stadium.

Pretty sure that they won't get any of them any time soon.

Just to keep these comments in perspective, here are your remarks in the first few minutes after the Cory Lidle plane crash in NYC.

Hmmm...NORAD was tracking the plane and just let it enter NYC airspace and hit a building.

The federal government is not capable of keeping America safe. Here is yet another example.

My bad, NORAD was not tracking it.

Then my pointed statement becomes WTF weren't they tracking it?

Wow, they solved that quickly. Fire still burning, don't know what type of aircraft it was yet we know it isn't terrorists. Blah.

I can always find a reason to rip on the federal government.

Football stadium threat is a hoax

MILWAUKEE -- Internet threats of "dirty bomb" attacks at NFL stadiums this weekend were a hoax, the FBI and Department of Homeland Security said Thursday.

The FBI made the announcement after agents questioned a 20-year-old Milwaukee man in an effort to determine who made the threats, which were posted on a Web site last week.
"The investigation has determined that this is a hoax. The public should be reassured of their security as they continue to attend sporting events this weekend," said the agencies' joint statement.

The FBI did not immediately say whether charges will be filed against the man they questioned. Milwaukee police contacted the FBI about the man Wednesday night.

"From the information we have, we believe he was involved to some extent, but we don't know at what level," said FBI agent Douglas E. Porrini. He added: "That person was released, but we're not saying that he won't be charged."

The threat, dated Oct. 12, appeared on a Web site, The Friend Society, that links to various online forums and off-color cartoons. Its author, identified in the message as "javness," said trucks would deliver radiological bombs Sunday to stadiums in New York, Miami, Atlanta, Seattle, Houston, Cleveland and Oakland, Calif., and that Osama bin Laden would claim responsibility.

The Homeland Security Department alerted authorities Wednesday in the cities mentioned, as well as the NFL and the National Collegiate Athletic Association. But the FBI and Homeland Security said there was no intelligence indicating such an attack might be imminent.
"I don't think it was put out there to be real," said FBI agent Linda Krieg in Milwaukee. "Whoever put it out there is not in a position to actually carry through on it. It was not a credible threat."
The man questioned did not appear to have any ties to terrorist groups, according to an FBI official in Washington who spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation was still going on.

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said stadiums are well protected through "comprehensive security procedures" that include bag searches and pat-downs.
