HBO SPECIAL Hacking Democracy - Google Video

Anyone see this? Especially the last hour of the show with the videotaping of Diebold's response to not being able to change votes on a memory card and denying that there's an executable; then that German Chris Farley guy wrote a program, put it on the memory card, then they ran the test ballots.

Originally it was 2 to 6, in favor of Nos. When the card printed the results, it was 7 to 1, in favor of Yeses. When they ran the memory card in the actual tallying program "Gems," it also failed to find any anomalies and reported the same 7 to 1 count.

Even if the switching of memory cards was a little far fetched, the fact that Diebold was just flat out lying their pants off was scary enough.

Just so the Democrats don't get all uppity, in the first hour you see how spineless Kerry was. He knew about the election problems and put on a big show about it. Then did nothing.

This is a non-partisan issue as far as I'm concerned. This same documentary explored how in some states the Diebold machine problems worked in the Democrat's favor.
