Just wanted some opinions as to their accuracy and political position.

For my money, seems to be the only worthwhile weekly I've come across.

I posed it to the UK because I figure it gets the widest circulation there, but of course I'm interested in everyone's opinion.

it's pretty good, essentially apolitical but if anything a tad conservative (with a small 'c')

That was what I was imagining. What's amazing is that I agree with their cover editorial position like 80%-90% of the time.

To me, this is a spectacular hit rate. I can't, for instance, find a political candidate who rates in the 40s.

Edit: Recent examples.

Iraq: appallingly bad. Cut and Run: even worse.
Midterm Elections: Republicans deserve a clobbering for their behavior, and not acting like Republicans. Not for invading Iraq in the first place.

Around here I am apparently "helping the terrorists" by holding such extreme views.
