I wonder if Republicans will still believe there's no civil war in Iraq.

It's not official! It's an estimate uttered by iraqi's health-minister. The basis for his estimate is the fact that about 100 bodies arrive in hospitals and morgues everyday, and so he simply calculated back with this number and viola his result.

Given the fact that only a part of the dying people in Iraq arrive in morgues and hospitals, and the exclusion of the deaths caused during the invasion-phase, the number could well be much higher.

We're using Iraq as one big battleground to fight terrorism. The more Iraqis die, the better. It just proves that we're fighting there so we don't have to fight here.

Or are we trying to create a stable democratic country there to improve the lives of Iraqis? I always forget, because there are so many reasons for this war.

Insurgents could never claim a stronghold here.
We wouldn't let them.
Besides it's be great for the economy.
And great target practice.
All men are created equal, but what they do after that point puts them on a sliding scale.

Should I buy this car because it looks great? Or should I buy it because it gets great gas mileage? Or should I buy it because it's affordable? Or should I get it because I need transportation. I always forget, because there are so many reasons for me to get this car.

Answer: all of the above. Get the car.

But it doesn't make sense to buy a car both because it's big and because it's small. That's what is going on with saying 1) we want Iraq to be a hotbed of terrorist fighting and 2) we want it to be a stable, peaceful country.

That's why you get a TARDIS.
