I'm just curious how the same people keep posting over and over and over... the same themes again and again. And the same people rebut with the same tired old arguments... and then by the third or fourth post the personal attacks start...

Some threads are original. But those are the reasons why I don't spend a lot of time in this forum.

Hehe, good point. This place is like Groundhog Day

That's why I don't pay too much attention to it, but reliving the same thing over and over again has a certain entertainment value..

I agree this forum is like the movie Groundhog Day. Not unlike Bill Murray in the movie, the hopeless lib may begin to finally see the error in his ways. Instead of fighting reality day after day he may finally begin to accept things as they are and work with the unique opportunities he's been given in life.

Repetition is the key to retention and perfection. So continue to enjoy this forum. After all, you may even learn to play the piano in the meantime.

Aww lighten up Francis! I'm just joshin' y'all.

Usually, even a P/L thread with the best of intentions is only good for about 40 or 50 posts before denigrating into poop, even with liberal (hah!) use of the ignore list. I'm suprised the Pelosi's Plans thread lasted three pages without much poop being slung, but then again perhaps my ignore list saved my perception of that thread.

My rule of thumb is, unless the thread has something to do with David Bowie, Anna Benson, or Steve Guttenberg, it's probably not worth even looking at if it exceeds two pages, because the trolls will have taken root already.

This thread alone is like a broken record. I could probably have written everyone's responses for them.

Nah, too many people would be in an uproar and claim that they aren't predictable and it would turn into a flamefest. As much as people think I'd enjoy that, I don't.

So you don't think that abe's / marden's threads are repeating over and over again the same lament ?

No one makes anyone click on his threads. If one dislikes him so much, why even pay him attention?
